What the site provides

ScoopMath provides free tools and information for converting cooking and baking measurements. Conversions are based on average ingredient weights from published references and standard volume definitions.

Accuracy and no warranty

Real ingredient weights vary with brand, grind, humidity and measuring technique. Results are approximations intended for home cooking and are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Do not rely on the site where exact measurements are critical, including medical, dietary, pharmaceutical, commercial or safety-related uses. When accuracy matters, weigh your ingredients with a calibrated scale.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for personal and commercial cooking. You agree not to disrupt the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or scrape or copy it in a way that places an unreasonable load on the server.

The text, design and code of this site are owned by ScoopMath unless otherwise noted. You may share links to any page and quote short passages with attribution. Fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License.
